I was told there is no 'drop' with auto-augmentation. There's no implant to move down. Mine looked normal butt like as soon as my swelling went down.

Talked to the doctor. He said to treat the new opening with the Dakin's solution and gauze like my other wounds. He asked how my cough was and I said much better, though not gone yet. He said if the z-pack is working it's likely I had a touch of pneumonia from being on the ventilator for so long and then sedentary and at and angle for a long time. Of course I'd get pneumonia too. Before this I would have said I was a magical healer and never get side effects. This has been very humbling.
I?m 50 and 5'4 and 135lbs. I had a Dexa scan at 137 which put me at borderline underfat for my age. It was those results that told me to stop. Unless you have a lot less muscle than me, 130 will likely drop you below a healthy fat level. I was in the healthy fat range at 150?s...so I have wiggle room and have maintained My weight for 8 months or so.

for those who had the auto augment butt lift with your lbl. How long did it take for the butt to drop? I'm 10 weeks post op and still look like I have 2 butts, one on my hips and the bottom of my cheeks with a hollow in between.

Hi everyone! I had LBL March 9, 2018 and everything went well although I had a stubborn spot on my left hip that would not close. We removed stitches several times (3 - 4 times) and it still wouldn't close. My PS tried silver pads, inadine pads and finally debriding (scraping the surface with a scalpel to get rid of dead skin and promote healing) and then silver nitrate sticks to burn/cauterize the open area.
I was so nervous about necrosis and/or infection and was getting frustrated not understanding why it wouldn't close. Finally I noticed another stitch that surfaced. I pulled it (as per the direction of my PS) and it was longer than my middle finger in length. After removing that last stitch it closed within a few days! What!? I am so happy!
I am officially a stitch spitter, lol.
If you have a spot try to be patient. I was told it would close and they were right but I was feeling pretty down about it over the past few weeks. Looks like I'll be swimming this summer - yea!

GAH!!! I had a 3/4" spot open up on my LBL line in front with yellow gunk coming out. Why did I do this again?!?!
I was cleared for all workouts starting at 6 weeks, but it was probably closer to 12 weeks before I really hit my core hard. I was running again at 8 weeks though.

When did you start exercises that involved the core muscles? I am 2 weeks out from surgery and still limited to walking no more than 6 blocks twice a day. I am going nuts, but am compliant because I want good results.

...and yes, I have one flat hip. No idea what's up with that bone
