I really didn't do anything special prepping for my facelift/neck lift - just no water/food after midnight. Be prepared to have pain and ensure you have ice packs ready to go at your house. Of course, you will need someone to drive you home and put you to bed. Follow your surgeon's recommendations to the "T" about applying your silver ointment to the scars and don't pull on your face when you wa**** The bruising went away for me in about 2 weeks and I AM THRILLED I HAD THE SURGERY! Would do it all over again! I am in Jacksonville FL and my surgeon was Dr. Michael Duffy.

Thanks!! I see you are in Texas, too. What part and who are you using for your facelift? I am outside of Houston and plan to use Dr. Yarish for my facelift someday. I used Dr. LoMonoco for my body work (love him) but he does not do faces.

I know that Dr Sauceda did all the procedures that we'd talked about at markup. The only way he'd stop from doing a procedure if you were having problems. Dr Gaby is checking constantly on your vitals. If it's not safe, they stop and reschedule you for another day while you are in Monterrey. To my knowledge, it's only happened a few time since 2009.
