any one else suffer from sleep issues?
I'm not sure how far out you are from surgery, but it is common for people to have trouble sleeping at night when they are still taking pain meds and/or otherwise napping during the day.
It is also fairly common for people to have some insomnia when the weight loss starts to result in their energy level going up. It is temporary, although some people find that they need less sleep in general after losing the weight.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I've had sleep issues as far back as I can remember. I sympathize but don't have any answers for you.
