Protein Info

for me, my nutritionist wants it to be over 25g protein, under 200 calories per 8oz. (or so. I have a few shakes that mix up into 12 oz water.) but essentially what i look at is 25+protein, under 200 calories.
And yes, they are always different depending on the plan your doctor has, that's just my guidelines.

hi there
i am 7 days out and am using premiere shakes http://www.premiernutrition.com/protein-shake.html they have 30 g of protein and 1 sugar with 160 calories. the taste is not bad at all when they are very cold:) actually tastes like a flat chocolate shake. they have them at sams and costco if you have those stores near you. check with your nutritionist and see if they approve:) good luck!

Personally I looked for something that was:
All natural (no artificial flavors etc.)
Whey protein
Under 150cal
25gm of protein'
0gm carb
0gm sugar
Fine powder/mixes easily
My personal fav is the About Time brand, Birthday Cake- it's delicious!
