May 10Th will be my year anniversary from my surgery my highest weight was about 250, I now weight 143, 107lbs lost, although the last pound seemed to take months, I finally started exercising about 1 month ago, as I am still on oxygen, I think I am doing well I try to do 3-4 miles on the treadmill and about 5 on the bike, i also have a trainer once a week which really helps. I still drink protein drinks daily and eat well, although I can eat any thing with out any problems, just smaller portions... I feel great, shopping for clothes is fun, I just bought a bathing suit, I haven't worn one in prob about 17 years or so, my doctors want me to loose another 12-15 lbs, but my weight is just not moving any more i have been around this weight for several months, so I think I might be done, but I am happy

Congrats on the anniversary. May I ask why are you still on oxygen do you have another issue that the weight loss won't help with the oxygen? Or was it a side effect of the surgery? You have me scared over here. Bathing suit shopping must be fun Congrats!

I was diagnosed with COPD in 2006, loosing the weight has helped in my breathing and at this point I am still on oxygen, I have had no issues at all from the surgery was the best thing I have ever done
