Pain lower right side

I've been having a pain in my lower right side.  I wouldn't say its severe pain, probably moderate.  It hurts worse when I yawn or breathe in deep.  I'm hoping its just gas pain, but I took two gas X chewables about 3 hours ago with no relief.  I guess I will call the doctor in the morning if it isn't any better or gets worse.  Any ideas what this might be?

how far out are you?  I had the same issue but found out I wasn't chewing properly I was about 6-8 months out

I'm two months post op.  But, yeah its on the right side and doesn't seem to be aggravated by eating or drinking.

Definitely call your doctor tomorrow. It could be a few different things, depending on exactly where it is located. First, it could be from constipation. You didn't mention how your bowels are moving. Secondly, your appendix is in the right lower quadrant of your belly. Have you been running any fevers? Is it worse when you move around, stand or cough? It could also be some diverticulitis (inflammation to the intestine when small food or fecal particles get stuck in little pouches along the intestine and cause inflammation). better safe than sorry, you just as well get checked out.

is it near your belly button? a possibility is appendix.........

No fever. It almost feels like a cramp you would get from running too hard. It's time for me to start my period, so I'm wondering if its related to that. I am waiting for a call back from my doc now.
