Cough medicines?

What cough medicines are okay to use post RNY? I have a lingering cough that just won't go away!

 

 

Any cough syrup without NSAIDs is fine (and that is most of them).  Some people worry about the sugar in them, but the VERY small amount of sugar in them won't bother the vast majority of people.  You would have to be extremely sensitive to sugar to have a problem.

I have a minor cold. DayQuil is working just fine for me. I'm taking the pills.
