Wow so this is dumping
Well, thought I was getting off scott free with not having dumped/no food intolerances up to this point at almost 5 mos out. Had 4 small low carb pretzels with my hummus snack tonight for a change and I'm sitting here with my heart about to jump out of my throat and likely going to puke in a minute, tmi I know. Ughhhhh, not a happy time.......
This may be a silly question-but can you "mildly dump?" I ask that because I have noticed that now when I drink milk, I start to feel weak and shaky and nauseated but I don't actually vomit. It usually passes in about 30 minutes. I now can't eat any cereal of any kind either. I tried oatmeal with splenda the other day and I got the same feeling. The same thing happened with rice chex. Of course, that could be the milk. I've had diarrhea about 3 times when this happened but most of the time the feeling just passes.
Thanks in advance!
Pam :)
I still can't do any cereal with milk or ice cream ... major nausea and carb coma ... Different to dumping though ...
ETA: consider the poster when you look at answers to these questions. Some people so "want" to dump that they will take any little symptom as evidence they are dumping - you should not be dumping at anything less than 6 months plus out because you should not be consuming any food that will cause dumping - You will NOT dump on protein shakes unless they have HORRENDOUS carb stats (in which case you should NOT be using them) ...

So would that be lactose intolerance? I did fine with milk early out but now (8 months out)-not so well.My sugar-free pudding doesn't bother me at all. I thought maybe it was the sugar in milk that was causing it?
