What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

hi all

I didn't eat super well over the weekend- there was a buffet, lots of salt, and some dark chocolate- lack of water- my plan is to be more consistent this week and not - not eat for most the day then cram food in in the evening.

QOTD: many things- almost all burger and fry places, most fast food places, most drive thru donut places. What I do think is worth it- super amazing donut places (like mom and pop shops), mcdonalds/5 guys fries, really nice burgers. yummy good ice cream.

my food:

coffee

water

more coffee

b: chia protein cauli stuff (.50 serving chia, cauli, protein powder, splenda)

b2: the rest of this- ran out of space

L: veg broth soup/fish fritters. This is a new one for me- essentially I had leftover fish and I was soooo over it. I added eggs, seasoning, and two packages of quest chips and air fried it in fryer- they turned out very crispy and I'm excited to try them.

L2: more veggies I think

D: might have more of the fritters and make DH cheese grits to go with his.

S: maybe protein pancakes

Good morning, everybody!

It's dark and rainy here in Chicago. But not on my screen because I feel like I am staring into the sun. What does everybody else think of the new OH format? It's so bright, and the printing is so big, that I feel like I'm in Marco Island. I need a white patent leather belt and a 5:00 Dinner special to go with this new format.

I had a good day for accountability yesterday after two poor days in a row, so I'm looking to continue that today.

For our 30th anniversary, I was planning to take Marilyn to Wimbleton and today we were planning to get our tickets, but now I am getting nervous about the Coronavirus. Mainly because they just cancelled a tennis tournament in Arizona last night. I am not so much worried about catching the virus as in losing all of my money if the tournament is cancelled. So we are going to need to understand very clearly what the cancellation policy is before we commit to buying our tickets.

QOTD: Frozen Yogurt. I've been out of Massachusetts for 22 years and still drink Dunkin Donuts every morning. But some days it really isn't very good.

Breakfast: Ham, glorious Ham

Lunch: salad with chicken

Snack: Nuts

Dinner: Chili

Have a great day, all.

when were you thinking of going to Wimbleton? I'm hoping we'll be through the worst of this - at least in Europe - in a couple of months, but who knows. And like you, I'm not worried about catching the virus as I'll most likely have a mild case if I do, but losing money is big issue. The company that's taking care of us in Italy is waiving rescheduling fees, but the airline isn't - at least not that far out (mid-May). And it'll cost us $800 to change the airline tickets. Ouch. I"m just hoping everything will work out...but certainly concerned...

We were looking to go sometime between July 4th and 6th. We are supposed to be in Portugal the 7th. One of our group is already signaling that they will back out of that, but we convinced her to at least wait a month and see how things are.

yea - I wouldn't be worrying about July at this point. That's still pretty far out. They may be through the worst of it by then.

P.S. I'm never crazy about drastic changes on Web pages, but I'll get used to this after a few days. I need to make a shortcut to the forums, though, so I don't have to navigate the menu to get here - too many steps. I'm not sure how often I'll use the rest of the stuff on the main menu.

I miss the ability to switch between forums easily but I will adapt. I like the giant, crisp, bright font/display although I think it looks a bit juvenile (which is funny since the giant font is for our older eyes, I suspect).

For some reason, I can't edit anymore. When I click on "more" it just takes me to the top of the page. And I do like to edit. Although, not in the post something sociopathic, get into an extended flame war, and then change the original post to leave everyone baffled, sense. More in the "i" before "e", except after "c" sense.

Also, none of my likes show up on peoples feeds. And I have no likes on my mailbox. Although that may be just a personality flaw.

Oh man... the lack of editing does not bode well for how you all are going to view me as a self-proclaimed educator. I often post something at 4am and look at it two hours later only to see that I misspelled things and didn't form complete sentences! Eek.
