What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Tuesday Morning Everyone! Yesterday was another terribly busy day at work. It was the first virtual day of school and I felt like I was just chasing my tail all day! But all of that is in the past--I am off work today to take my mom to and from a day surgery, so people are just going to have to quit without my help, lol.
I hope this surgery won't actually take all day but they can't give an estimate. It's in a day surgery center that is right down the street from a nice shopping center that includes a few different food places and a grocery store, so I am not going to bring lunch--I'll just grab something that I can eat in the car if I need anything. I meant to go to the grocery store yesterday but ended up working another 12 hour day so I didn't have time. I will stop at Trader Joe's on the way home and get the fridge filled with some good stuff again!
I have so many millions of good pics form the Zoo Lights that I am going to add one a day! The Jellyfish were some of my favorites :)
QOTD: What device do you listen to music on the most? I was just remembering how important it used to be to have a stereo in the house...not anymore!! I used to listen to music a lot with headphones when I ran, but now that I have the iFit, I watch the videos and rarely listen to music. When I listen in the house, I use a bluetooth speaker connected to the phone. I also listen to Pandora radio through the Roku on the TV sometimes while I am working, but honestly I find noise distracting and don't have it on while working too often. I don't really miss anything about my commute, but I did like throwing on some good jams in the car--I haven't done that in ages :)

yesterday was work, post office, gym, then home to eat and relax. today is work, take a break for a covid test headache, coughing, etc, work, then home.
QOTD: mainly I listen in the gym using amazon music. DH listens at night before sleeping with his BOSE headset. I general don't listen other times and do XM in the car...
the chicken soup/stew ended up being awesome- kind of like a chicken chili without beans, chicken breast/carrots in IP with water and a gravy broth to cook- then added zucchini then more spices and shredded chicken.
weight still on the upper side so need that to go back down.
food: apparently NOT prepared... plus I actually thought we were going back to TN for a procedure for DH on Thursday so didn't prepare much
b: oats/egg whites?
L: chicken stew
S: yogurt/cottage cheese mix
Not to be an ass, but why are you going to work if you are not feeling well? This is how **** continues to spread. You need to be staying home until you know what you have. Even then if it is still something other than Covid you should be staying home. Why people think they can go to work if they are not feeling well amazes me. Stay Home!!

Good morning! I am so annoyed with some of my colleagues; I was given a project that needs to have a recommendation due by 10/13 on Thursday. By COB Thursday I had provided them with a list of who needed to be involved, when they needed to confirm those individuals or alternatives and set up the first meeting....and half of them didn't bother to respond. I'm trying to decide how passive aggressive I want to be given so many people did rearrange their schedules to join the first meeting later today. This is a very short window for a very big proposal, directed by our regional President so I'm just annoyed across the board.
QOTD - I stream from my phone to a bluetooth speaker. I pretty much listen to podcasts/audible in the car and music only at home or when I'm walking.
I'm going to go back to pilates today, first time in more than a week, taking a 1 class to start myself back gently, lol.
I love the jelly fish; can't wait to see more of the pictures!
