Good Morning! Those are amazingly vivid photos! I missed posting yesterday since my day was so busy at work and the day was over before I knew it. The weekend was good, I worked a little from home on Friday and then in the office for a few hours Sunday but spend most of Saturday afternoon with Em so my heart was happy. The rest of this week are some month end postings and the typical stuff before we ramp up again for the next payroll. I need to pass off the stores I have been holding since I was training the new team member but it's time.

QOTD: For running I switch brands occasionally but Mizuno, Saucony and Karhu are the typical ones I rotate between.

Menu is typical for during the day/snacks and for dinner, shredded beef tacos (net zero carb tortillas) with guac and cheese with cauliflower rice. Exercise is done, water/vits on track.

I hope you all have a great day.

I have read a lot about American history but never knew this site existed. Thanks so much for sharing.

QOTD: I have worn a brand from France called Propet for more than 10 years. They are extremely lightweight, about an ounce each. Other shoes feel too heavy on my feet after wearing Propet. I buy them in all colors and styles and rarely return a pair.

Those are awesome pictures! Such a cool site!

Good morning y'all!

Not much happening today. We have to wait around until the coffee table we ordered is delivered. Should be by 11am.

My appointment went ok yesterday. Got a little lecture about improving my protein intake...which I did deserve. I've lost ten pounds since I was there last and 25 all together since starting mounjaro. While I wi**** could be faster I am happy with it. The rational part of my brain is often drowned out! LOL. I know it's better to lose it steadily than all at once. I am impatient to a fault.

QOTD: I prefer sneakers step in right now for walking. I have big ol hobbit feet it seems. I wear a 12w. They actually have some women's shoes in that size and they are comfy for me.

B: burrito and coffee

L: chicken nuggets and ???

D: probably something like a baked stuffed chicken breast with a veggie

S: going to try hard to get a PP shake in there somewhere.

a pic of the video our bird feeder cam captured and a meme.

Thanks for the service your family has given! It is not easy and often un thanked. Their service and your family's support of it is much appreciated by me.

i'm getting better with emotional eating too. It's my go to for comfort and it's so hard to break that cycle. Congratulations!

Happy Tuesday Gang!! I'm a little bummed we didn't get to the Y last night because when I got home Irvin had been working on the big rabbit hutch, but realized some of the stuff we got the day before wasn't going to work so we ended up taking it back to Lowe's and getting other stuff. Not the end of the world as I just jumped on the home treadmill, but I was really looking forward to going.

Work was super busy yesterday, but I was able to all, but two reports completed so I am very happy about that. Now to get them done and see what else the day brings.

I was able to upload a bunch of pictures so let's see what I post below.

QOTD: What's your favorite walking/running shoe/sneaker? I've tried a bunch of different ones over the years, but it seems for me Sketchers always comes out on top. I have a bit of a wide foot and with them for some reason I don't need to have them in wide their regular fit perfect and are always comfortable.

B: coffee and egg with squash

L: salad with sliced soupy and sharp cheddar

D: grilled chicken

Either the Y or home treadmill we will see what Irvin feels up to. Crossing fingers it's the Y.

Have a great day everyone!! Now for some pictures. These are of the America's Stonehenge. Of course, the site won't let me shrink them.

My goodness are you right about that sound! They should make alarm clock with that sound!

I got to talk to the office manager. She was apologetic. Texas Tech had a major security breach and hack. Amarillo is the last campus to get it all recovered. The NP wasn't happy about it at all. She was upset by the lack of notification. Overall an ok appointment. I got lectured a bit about protein which I might've deserved lol

thanks!

Aw, I feel bad for you having a bad pain day. That makes everything so difficult. Hope the appointment with your surgeon went well. Can't believe they didn't let you know about that earlier than last Thursday, that's crazy.

LOVE the miniatures scene, I literally laughed out loud. Until recently we only ever had Siamese so except for the 'swelegant room that is a scene lived over and over and over with us. The sound of a cat yakking would make the best alarm, it will wake you from a dead sleep.

Good luck on the search for the right baker's rack. That's the kind of challenge I love. Wonder if they'll have any on the Prime Day sales?

Glad you had a great vacation, from what you describe of your job you definitely earned some R&R. Your YMCA sounds great and I'm glad they have so much to offer.

QOTD: I had no idea there was an American Stonehenge either, wow! Hubby and I love historical places and living in Germany as newlyweds (his first tour of duty) spoiled us with ruins of castles everywhere and of course the standard tourist places. When we got back to the States we were snobs. 'Pfft, this is only 200 years old, its so new.' hahaha

Here's an odd NSV: There is so much sorrow here and nationally since last week but I didn't stuff my face for comfort. That's 99% due to the Contrave but that 1% was me. This week I finally get to give my grandkids big hugs (one granddaughter is the age of the girls at that camp) and my son-in-law who's a firefighter/EMT. I don't think he knew the Idaho firefighters personally but that brotherhood is really strong in the Washington/Idaho/Montana area. He probably rubbed shoulders with them at one of the annual Seattle Firefighter's Stair Climb. Its amazing to see them walk up 69 floors in full turnout gear wearing and using oxygen.

So, food.

B: The chocolate protein/collagen coffee 'milkshake'

L: 2 slices of lunch meat, half a cucumber and 1/4th a yellow pepper.

D: 2 oz overcooked shrimp chopped into 1/2 c nonfat cottage cheese, cucumber slices (the Korean cucumbers are finally coming in from the garden!)

It is scorching hot and dry here till Wednesday. There's been 3 wildfires that I've heard of) and pray the winds will be calm. I'm going to try for cold foods this week and increased exercise.

Grateful for the new week! Hope you all have had a good Monday.

Good mornin y'all! Start of a new week!

I have a doctors appointment today that I found out about Thursday. I am going to launch a little complaint. I was never notified I even had one until Thursday. Thankfully I have nothing else planned. It's my bariatric surgeon. It's through Texas Tech. Slightly annoyed.

Other than that I'm not sure what else we'll do. We might look for a new baker's rack. We're trying to make our house more livable.

Pain is really bad so I've been trying to deal with that. I'm hoping to hear back from the orthopedic surgeon about a CT scan. We'll see.

QOTD: I do love history of all kinds. I watch a lot of documentaries about Egyptian history, all sorts of others too. It's really fascinating if people give it a chance,

B: protein bar and half an egg white pita...coffee.

L: not sure what this looks like today. Depends.

D: maybe some chicken.

Have a good day ya'll!

This is a miniature scene! Any cat owner gets this!

You were missed here but glad you had a great vacation. I love history and visiting old sites like that. I did not know there was an American Stonehedge. How exciting.

History is so interesting. I used to think ancient people had no intelligence. Now I realize that they did and probably had ther own great artists and highly intelligent people who built something like a Stonehedge. That just went on my bucket list. I feel like it is not good for me to travel alone so will need to find someone who is interested and travel with them.

Have a great time at the Y.
