Good morning, everybody!

Back from swimming and now, I'm all about the dip today.

We have a potluck Holiday party at our gym next Friday. I signed up with a TBD next to my name and Monday night somebody suggested that a dip might be a good idea. So, I'm looking for dip recipes. Does anybody know any good dips? They don't have to be bariatric friendly, so long as its not a sugar bomb. Don't want to be dumping during the party.

We are Zooming with Lisa and Roger tonight. It's actually a double dip Happy Hour because we are doing it right after my regularly scheduled Zoom with my retired friends. I think that I will just chat and sip a Bai water for the first leg, so that i am still fresh for the meetup with Lisa.

Other than that, Crossfit and maybe a nap. This week continues to be all about getting my car serviced on Friday so that I can have a low key weekend. I plan to go straight from swimming to the dealership on Friday morning, so I will need to bring a book and a change of clothes.

QOTD: I have read Einstein's second theory of relativity a couple of times and every time that I think I understand it, I get confused again. I know, for example, that time bends and that has to be accounted for when scheduling phone calls through satellites. But to travel back in time, I believe that you actually have to travel faster than the speed of light, which seems unlikely.

Breakfast: ham and Eggs

Lunch: tacos

Dinner: Charcuterie

Have a great day, all!

Happy Hump Day!!! I think the weather is messing with the computers today. I can't get a photo to upload. It is raining cats and dogs. I got in at 6:30 to beat the worse on the ride in and I plan on leaving a bit early since we are supposed to get 60mph gusts along with very heavy rain later this afternoon. While we need the rain getting it all at once kinda sucks. We are supposed to get 3inches of rain in a 12-hour period.

Yesterday afternoon there was a horrible 4 vehicle accident on 395 the highway right next to the plant. I still can't believe the driver of the tractor trailer didn't die. The highway was shut down for 6 hours.

QOTD: This is a bit of an unusual question, but do any of you believe in time travel? I do. In May of 2020 my husband and I stumbled upon this poorly made documentary about a man from 3036 who supposedly time traveled back to March of 2020. What he talked about then is now coming true or maybe it is all just a very weird coincidence, but people really need to open their eyes and stop listening to the news.

B: Tea and 2 eggs with ham

It rained here all day but was nice and warm and all the snow is gone for a while. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Good mornin all!

I have my second to last PT today. I am so sorry glad it's almost over. Yesterday's appointment went ok. They upped my lyrica again. I've been having a lot of nerve pain in my legs and feet. If this doesn't do the trick it'll be a round of imaging. I'm about to become more zombified. Yay. Hopefully it'll work though! I'm over the burning sensations.

I was hoping someone on FB would want to buy something I make but alas no bites. Thankfully I am sending some made pieces out to my boss that should take care of Christmas stuff. I'm just giving money to my brother and SIL. The kids are all done, just waiting for things to arrive. My mom's is done. I got my best friend from high school a little something as I am missing her a lot. Will eventually send her a dice bag in the new year as she sent me a bit of money to help with a bill. I didn't spend just a whole lot this year but I don't usually have the dental bill. Or the internet. At least I didn't used to.

QOTD: I am with you, Krampus is my hero! Lol I would also like to do the Isle of Man.

B: eggs, cheese and coffee

L: turkey soup with barley

D: likely soup

Good morning, everyone!

A little change of pace this week, I'm going into the office today and will work from home on Friday. We have a seminar this morning, so it seemed like a good trade-off.

We have our Christmas tree up and decorated and we are just waiting for our wreaths. The shop near us makes them cross style, but it's a special order. Marilyn can pick them up when the shop calls but probably needs help getting the tall one up.

I picked up Marilyn's present online while riding the train yesterday. Ordinarily, I wouldn't do that but it was a really great sale. I still need to get her a few small things, so that she has gifts to open, and fill her stocking. I ordered some gift cards for the CrossFit trainers, but still need to get one for my admin.

QOTD: The Seychelles.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: sandwich

Dinner: Ham

Have a great day, all!

I would go to Ireland because I have a ton of family there and would love to spend the holidays with them. One of my friend's husbands was stationed in Germany and they spent Christmas one year in the Black Forest. She really enjoyed Chritmas there.

Good morning everyone. Not much going on today. I'm finishing up sending out Christmas cards and I have to get some pictures made for ornaments I'm making of the grandkids. Hoping work is slow today and tomorrow.

QOTD: If you could travel to another country for the holiday season where would you choose? I want to visit either Austria or Germany. And it would actually be for Krampustag/Krampusnacht which happens at the beginning of December. For those of you who don't know Krampus is a horned figure who goes around collecting naughty children, putting them in his sack and then hits them with reeds. Yea I know I like the oddities of the world.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: ham and swiss wrap

D: more corned beef and soup

Have a wonderful day!!!!

My late Merlin was a hunter to the core. If you dare tried to get the prey away he would let out these horrid sounds. He would eat most of it but always left parts. It was so gross.

Hope the vertigo lets up, that's just so awful to deal with!
