Hi all! I'm 12 days post op and for the most part I'm feeling great. I'm able to eat my mushies, getting oodles of protein and most of my water. But....I get exhausted so quickly! I nap during the day and still I'm in bed by 8:30 am wiped!!!!

Is this normal?

I've been like this quite often myself.

Yup. I was like that too. Better now but still not 100% energy yet.

I asked the same question not to long ago, and everyone told me (for the most part) their energy wouldnt come bac****il 2-3 months later.. boooo to that.

I am super tired after I do anything. I am almost 4 weeks post op.

It will get better! It took me about 8 weeks to really feel energized, so you just have to be patient. Remember how much your body has been through, and healing takes energy.

Thanks guys....yeah I figured. I still find it weird not to eat veggies and fruit like mad. I was wondering if it was that. But it was only 2 weeks ago that I had the surgery. I love my sleep!

My fatigue lasted 6 weeks - would get really tired while just sitting at the computer - I worked from home the first few weeks after surgery. Sometimes it happened within a couple of hours of getting up in the morning - sometimes later in the afternoon.

After 6 weeks I haven't had that feeling at all....am at 8 weeks now. I do not nap and stay up late at night but always get 7-8 hours sleep.
You will feel better the farther out you get from surgery.
