That's great! I've heard that our tastes for certain foods can come and go post op. Glad you were able to reconnect with an old favorite

I used to like the cherry pomegranate in the crystal light and just got burned out.  I find now that I like things that are lighter in color and taste such as raspberry lemonade and even just squeezed lemon in water with artificial sweetner.

I am so happy that I could drink plain water after surgery. A lot of people were saying they couldn't.
I can use any artificil sweetners so that would have been really hard. I LOVE my plain ol water..

CONGRATS; I know the feeling! I was able to drink almost all beverages soon out bu****ER! I could have soup, coffee, tea, etc, but no****er! It took me until 3 months or so before getting the minimum 64 oz. wasn't a daily struggle.

Keep up the good work!

Have you tried Vitamin Zero water?  It is really good.

I haven't had my  surgery yet.  (I haven't even picked a doctor yet.)  I'm worried about this water hydration problem everyone is talking about Post OP.   I love water it's my favorite drink.  For me nothing quenches my thirst like water.   I just was going to tell you to be careful with coffee though even decaf as it can dehydrate you even more.  I hope you find something that will hydrate you while you can't stomach water well.  I think Whole foods sells a drink simular to gatorade but it's all natural.  Maybe that would help you.  Take care.
