Yes, yes, yes, yes....insurance a go, looks like surgery is definitly going to happen on April 23-that's less than two weeks, and I will not longer be where I am now!!!

How long did you wait for approval?

Started Pre-op diet on Monday!! Took about a week for approval!

 Congrats!  I am scheduled for April 24th!!  Still waiting for approval but I am sure that will come through as I meet all the criteria 

Congrats!!  My NUT just approved me last week, and now I'm anxiously awaiting the call re: insurance approval and surgery date!  I will have a 3 week pre-op diet to follow.  You are lucky to have it in less than 2 weeks!

Thanks everyone for your support-one small snag though. BCBS wantsone clinical note for the last five years to back up the weight history...we have everything except for 2009-thats the year I lost a little bit of weight and then gained it back again...doctor said not to worry though-it's their job to get insurance approval.

Has any one ever heard of that? I am trying to remain positive-it will happen!!!
