We are having a mini meet up on Sunday - a few of us are going hiking at Griffith Park. We can organize something bigger for this summer when we have nice weather.

Way to go Mike !!!

That was fast !!!

Without knowing your background and stats I'm gonna guess at a few things.....

First.....get a good evaluation from your surgeon on your weight. You and him/her can determine if this is a weight that suits you. You are obviously the the one who ultimately decides. You may even want to do one of those dunk tank tests to determine body fat percentage. Personally.....I was in uncharted territory with 180lbs. being my initial goal weight. I worked with my surgeon to fine tune it and inch it down 5lbs. at a time and evaluate. We decided 160lbs. was a great long term weight for me, so I dropped it another 10lbs. for cushion/regain while I was still in WL mode instead of doing the stop/start thing.

I'm gonna guess from your WL that you do have a pretty good metabolism and will probably be fine adding calories and your maintenance window will be pretty wide in comparison to some.

Check out the VSGMG on my sig line and do some reading of back posts. Lots of good info.

Here is a re-post rom a previous thread:

Topic: RE: eating habits after reaching goal....Advice Please

It's not like a light switch ........
A gentle blend into Maintenance by adding 100 calories at a time to what your currently doing for WL....

Get your weight to stabilize for a couple of months.... Than start getting experimental with changing it up within your numbers.

Most find that Maintenance is about 80% of WL
