i went to the goodwill today and bought a couple items that were size 14. it was a .99 cent sale so i thought what the hell. my brain still hasnt caught up with my body to recognize i am smaller. as i thought these would be my maybe someday items, i got home and tried them on so i would know how far away they were... OMFG! they fit. i am still in 18 for pants but this was a cute little dress for fall and a little lands end courdaroy jacket. they are a bit tight but i would feel comfortable wearing in public. size 14! n 11/21/11 i waddled into the hospital wearing 4x sweats, 3x tank top and a size 26/28 sweater. i am now wearing 14 dress. a-******g-mazing!

Shopping NSV's are some of my personal favorites.  I am so very happy for you, and really, I get the joy you are feeling.  It just keeps getting better.

thanks! i think i am going to really start seeing the clothes nsv's now. the bigger the sizes the bigger the gap between sizes but now i am hoping i am going to really start to see those sizes drop.

Woot!!  That is so awesome!  I was having the same experience yesterday at Old Navy yesterday.  I got myself into a size 12 dress.  I know their sizes run large but I was really excited!  I bought one of those tube top maxi dresses in a large.  Wearing it at home, I'm thinking, I really need to get this in a medium.  OMG, I remember when XXL at Old Navy didn't fit!  This $%&# is bananas!
