NSV-Life at GOAL WEIGHT-Europe

Hey All,

Just got back from Europe last night.

A trip that covered both work and pleasure...... more pleasure because of "Life at Goal Weight"

My surgeon made mention very early on and I have repeated it...... "Better Quality of Life"

I had some long post in mind..... but..... I'm sure people are tired of hearing my crap..... So I'll just show you in pictures what Life at Goal Weight is like for me.

Traveling now is so enjoyable.......100 degrees and humid.....I was doing better that the locals !!!

At 350lbs. I would be the Fat Sweaty Piglet.......Not enjoying a single moment.

First.....the required seat belt slack photo.

One of my best Friends Randy..... who called me out on my weight...... and my god son Dakota (17yo) who races this Yamaha R6 in the Italian Championship. I do his promotion and Image Development.

Here is Dakota at Speed in the Race I went to at Mugello Italy. Top Speed at this track for him is 170mph.

NSV...... Here is me in Dakota's Leathers !!!! he is 135lbs. solid as a rock..... I'm 148lbs. soft as a Hostess Showball...... didn't quite zip up front !!!!

Here I'm getting lipped by Dakota and his Girlfriend in Barcelona.

I also did a photoshoot with my god daughter Taylor for her Modeling Portfolio

And...... the most insane Mortadella and meat slicer ever !!!! In Italy.

This trip meant a lot of things for me...... mostly living life again and bonding on a whole different level with friends and children in my life.

I read these forums everyday......we all have our own issues..... my journey has not been an easy one compared to some and very easy compaired to others.......

I just wish everyone who takes on any of the WLS procedures gets the most out of it........

On the food front...... Well....I have tons of great new ideas for post-op eating from both Italy and Spain !!!!!

Yes, quality of life is so important and until you experience the difference, so difficult to imagine. I already have huge improvements and can't even imagine being at goal.

Thats awesome Frisco!!!! Looks like you had a blast... You have done a fantastic job and glad you are enjoying life.

I plan on attending the Laguna Seca races next year with a bunch of friends. I had 2 R6's actually and now have a Harley

Welcome home! I'm sure it was a trip of a lifetime. Your family is beautiful and it's so wonderful to see you out there enjoying your life to the fullest! Thanks for posting the great pics and can't wait to see all the food porn that you learned on this trip!

I went to Italy 2 years ago (Portafino, Florence and Venice) and I sooo wish I would have had my VSG before I went. I am sure I would have enjoyed it all more.

I so relate to the sweaty piglet comment. I'm loving being so close to goal because I can finally take the heat! My AC bill this summer is going to be down by at least half - I just know it!
