Don't know how many females out there are into power tools.....I'm sure there are a few.....

I'm working on a couple things right now prepping for a job......

Drilling some holes into steel tubing......

The proper way is to clamp the work down than drill.....

I unconsciously discovered .....To speed things up.... I just held it with my feet !!!!

This would have never happened at 350lbs. without cutting off blood and air !!!!

Gotta admit I am not too into power tools but recognize their value. Shinking Nerd has lots of them.

But I can relate to activites without 100+ extra pounds hanging around. Today I hauled a huge load of weeds and such to the green waste recycle, pulled a load of other weeds, did laundry, worked on an art project, and did general picking up of stuff around here. All this without having to lie down even once.

But I had trouble digging holes yesterday for raspberry bushes because I would stand on the shovel but it wouldn't break the dry dirt. Had to use a sod axe.  My former 247 lb self would have pushed that shovel right in (if I could have gotten off the sofa to go do it).

Totally get it! Last year it was a pain to bend over and tie my damn shoes - I couldn't breathe and got all red in the face. No way I could have held the wood with my feet and bent over to drill - would have passed out from lack of breath!
Awesome NSV!
