okay - just popping in because this past month as been so filled with ups and downs and mixed emotions that i thought someone might benefit from my experience. up until this month - i have been zooming with my weight loss. sure, i've had a few short stalls - but they usually never last more than a few days and are followed by several back to back days of rapid weight loss. after i hit 110lbs down something happened. i know part of it was my attitude, part of if was my body's reaction to changes and part of it is probably just normal. but it sucks!!! for the month of August i lost NOTHING!!!!! i have been craving carbs more than ever (now this part is all my fault - indulging in all the wrong fruits that i love - in abundance!!!).
well, i wouldn't take the advise of all those successful losers who have gone ahead of me and stick to my plan to maximize my weight loss in the first 6 months and now i'm gonna have to work for it. lol. but i'm in it to win it!!!! i've increased my walking distance from 3 miles to 4.5/5 - 6 days a week. i'm back to keeping my carbs at 40 or lower and i'm determined to hit goal in the next 60 - 90 days.
one thing i will say is - i feel freakin great!!! and i look amazing (if i do say so myself - ROFL!!!). so no more coasting for me - it's back on the grind. but i still see the end in site!

Thanks Tina!!! I'm having to adjust my perspectives and I'm learning to appreciate everything. It's all relevant! This week I thought about the fact that when I started this journey I could only walk for 30 minutes a day - and that was barely a mile. Today I'm walking for 90 minutes and covering 4.5 miles!!! So, yeah, I have to get up a half hour earlier and walk a little farther and work a little harder - but thank God I can do it is my anthem!!! Take care :-)
