Best ice crushing blender?!

The little blender I have refuses to crush ice for my protein shakes. Can any of you recommend one that really works well and crushes the ice up well?

I find the protein shakes are much more palatable when they are SUPER cold.

VITAMIX! Definitely best blender I've ever owned...I bought it around 6 months prior to surgery, still use it so much....2 years now...it is pricey for a blender, so I did the installment payments (no interest) with QVC....

The ninja blender. Makes snow cone ice! I love it. Walmart or SAMs club. Get the six blade one. It really does a great job. Around $50

I bought a small Cuisenart blender that comes with a blender jar, 4 tall cups and one short one. It was somewhere around $60. It blasts the heck out of ice cubes, unlike the 3 Magic Bullets I've killed along the way.

Highest 303.4, Surgery 263, Current 217.8, Goal 180

I have a black and decker I got a walmart for around $30. The pitcher is glass so it's heavier but excellent for crushing ice!

I have a Commercial Waring.......has more power than my Scooter....doesn't even know the ice is there.......

I bought a Magic Bullet pre-op cause everyone talked about it........used it once with ice as it made funny noises and was smelling bad..... it wanted to cough......

I almost chucked it...... but found out it is a great spice grinder and great for small batch sauces.......
