small but personal NSV

After dropping 24lbs, I can wear my wedding ring again. Sorry ladies.....I'm taken. LOL

Congrats! I'm having the opposite happen... I got a new ring last Christmas when I was 365 and now it literally falls off my finger. The problem is that I can't have it resized so I told the wife I would get a new one when I got to goal. Of course, she isn't buying it...she wants me to get a new one ASAP. LOL!

Thanks Joshua!  Although I should have done something about my weight long ago, it wasn't until I had my daughter in June that I finally realized that I had to do something about it.  Being a father and getting healthy is what motivates me everyday to get up and overcome this hurdle.  It's not easy but I know it's well worth it.

I have to get a new band, mine is titanium and my hands shrunk so much that I have to have the ring re-manufactured - it cant be resized.

I had a wedding band tattooed on as 9nth anniversary present, both hubby and I got them.  We have been married 17 years now.  I am not saying everyone should get tattooed I am just sharing my ring situation

I love this idea - and wish my husband would go for it. lol

I think it is an AWESOME NSV... I had purchased a ring while in Guatemala (adoption ring w/ jade for Mom and jade stone for child). I was never able to wear it and last week was moving stuff to get to an earring and noticed the box. I tried it on and it fit. that was a HUGE NSV for me that makes me smile every time I look @ my hand!

I've had to put a ring guard under mine temporarily because it has gotten too big to wear but I don't like going without it. My hubby wants me to have it resized now but I want to wait until I get to goal and then it'll be my gift to myself for reaching that goal!! Congratulations on a great NSV!!
