Wedding NSV
I was Matron of Honor in my best friend's wedding this weekend and it was an AMAZING weekend filled with LOTS of NSVs! The wedding was held at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY which is just beautiful and so historic! The day of the wedding began with my husband and I doing our own 6 mile running tour of the campus. It was INCREDIBLE...and HILLY! The school is built into the side of a mountain, so there were several CAT 5 hills in there, but I didn't even notice them. I got my hair done and all dressed, and I just could not believe how beautiful I felt. I had absolutely no qualms about walking down that aisle and standing up in front of all of her family and friends in support of her big day...where as before surgery I would have been incredibly uncomfortable. I recieved many compliments from lots of her family and friends that I hadn't seen in a long time. Her Aunt (who has been lurking here!) also had VSG about 2 months ago and is doing fanastic! She called me the "poster child for VSG" and said I was a huge a inspiration to her, which made me feel really great =) Here are some photos from the big day! My husband was great arm candy all dressed up in his blues =) and we had lots of fun in the photo booth they had at the reception!
You look AMAZING! Congrats on all of the NSVs and your success! You and your husband make such a beautiful couple too!! So great!!
