Encouragement

I am 7 months out from surgery and I am absolutely happy with my decision to have the VSG done.  I am down to 248 from 373..I went from a tight 26 some 28's to a snug 16..I am still amazed at my progress..I am posting pics on my profile so please take a look.  I want to write this post for any new sleevers or anyone considering the sleeve.  Is this easy?  Hell NO!!  Are some days frustrating..ABSOLUTELY!!  But the benefit of the surgery makes it all worth it.  I was one of the ones that had my doubts.  Even after I had my surgery, I still didnt think it was gonna work for me.  Now, everyday I look in the mirror and wonder who this girl is staring back at me.  I still have a ways to go but the fact that I lost over a 100 lbs in 7 months is mind blowing.  I hope this helped to encourage someone!

That is an incredible weight loss in a short time. I am still feeling confused when clothes that I did not fit in are now loose. Great for you!

Congratulations on losing over 100 pounds.  That must feel and look great.  I have similar feelings about my sleeve.  It is hard to believe I've finally overcome the obesity.  Its been such a plague on my life for so long.

Keep up the good work!
