So MONDAY is the day :)
im really excited that my surgery is FINALLY here. I was told to start washing with this soap the hospital gave me and it really sucks because it makes your skin so dry and you cant put lotion on after you use it. Im also very nervous. my good friend just has the surgery a few days ago and she has smooth sailing so I hope its the same for me... any advice for me ?
im really not to sure of the reason but they said to help prevent infection ?! idk lol
Oh yeah - I remember that soap, although I only had to wash with it the morning of the surgery. Bring your favorite pillow and some chapstick - other than that you won't need much.
Just remember the old mantra "walk and sip, walk and sip". In the hospital, it'll mostly be "walk" until day 2. The sooner you're out of that bed the better off you'll be!
I'm wishing for you a speedy, pain-free recovery, and a smooth transition into the "best" of your life!
thanks so much! pillow is all packed :) and I had to do from today all the way until monday morning :(
^^ Ditto to pillow and Chapstick!!
and I remember that soap. It made my skin SO dry!
