I did the math this morning as I stepped on the scale to see it read 239. I've lost 81 pounds since I started this journey. I realized that that is about twice the amount that I've ever been able to lose before in my life. And it's still downhill from here, with no doubt in my mind that I will reach my goal and enter maintanance probably within a years time. It just amazes me. I am so thankful for my surgeon, for my sleeve, and probably most of all, all of you. I would not be where I am without the constant support and help from the people on this forum. Having gone to Mexico for my surgery, I had no follow up with my surgeon. I was lucky enough to have a PCP who happily took over that role, but she is not well versed in bariatric surgery or its follow up care requirements. Thanks to this forum, I've been able to help guide her with what I need, and things have gone amazingly well. I'm almost halfway to my goal. And I will reach it. Thank you all.
