Is there some trick to making this easier to use.  I find it confusing and cumbersome.  I had to enter everything for cottage cheese.  There was no list of foods to choose from.  I used to use my daily plate and it was much simpler.  But so many of you ush MFP that I wanted to give it a try

Did you use the search feature on the Food Diary (Add Food, Search by Name).  You can put the brand first to narrow it down.

Or, if you have a Smart Phone with the MFP app, you can do a barcode scan to get the details.  Once you add the food one, it will appear on your Recent or Frequent foods tabs.

Try the barcode scanner. Made it so much easier to track my food intake. Hopefully this will help you.

I tried to use MFP, I really did, but it was such an aggravation I gave up. I just keep a journal of my foods, with cals/fat/carbs/pro, and my liquids and protein liquids. I also make note of my vits, calcium, and any BMs (TMI, I know, but if I don't write it down i can't remember whether I went yesterday or 5 days ago.)  I do use MFB to do a quick calculation, if I don't know the data for the foods but I don't use it for anything else.

Maybe I'm just old school.

So sorry y'all have had trouble with MFP. I has been a lifesaver for me. I haven't had to enter any foods. My searches always find what I need. Tracking foods really makes a difference for me.

I went to live strong and signed up on their app.  I like it MUCH better!

In the beginning I did not like MFP either I was using www.loseit.com found it to be a lot simplier. But now that I have a fitbit force, it sync  with MFP . I find the bar code scanning feature to be the easiest to use with my iphone
