From what I hear, he's the number one requested speaker at medical bariatric conferences because of his high success rate and ability to perform every type of WLS available.  This is according to my PCP, who is a bariatric specialist.  He knows the man quite well and can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. K would have been my choice as well if we didn't already have a longstanding relationship with the Rabkins (the other highly skilled revision surgeon out here,) and several of his long term post ops attend our local support group. I certainly wouldn't go to that cult surgeon, considering all the long term dietary problems his patients, and those who follow his "plan", seem to have (though his former partner Jossert would be a good alternative up there.)

I'll definitely check out his page for information through my surgery and recovery process!  Thanks for introducing him!

Very impressive doctor.  Seems down to earth - no blown up ego.  Hopefully he won't change and have his minions do his advertising for him.

Dr. K is a superb surgeon.  He did my band to sleeve revision.  Unfortunately, when I developed a gastric tumor and needed to revise to DS, I was in Germany.  Where I had another great surgeon (whom Dr. K had recommended) operate.  If I had had the time, I would have come back to the states and Dr. K but time was of the essence.

Is it weird that I think surgery-cam videos are actually pretty cool? I could never do something like that myself, but it's fascinating to see it all in action!

If you are weird, then so am I!  (I confess, though, that I got squeamish less than half way through a knee replacement video and had to stop watching before I chickened out of my surgery (and I never did go back to watch it even after my knees were both done!)

He is the one surgeon I'd trust to do the DS for me.

Dr. Keshishian took time from his busy schedule to speak to me on the phone and answer a lot of questions for me. He was so kind and considerate. I've never heard a single bad word about him.

I opted against having the DS, but I sure appreciated all the knowledge he had on the subject and how willing he was to share it with me.

Dr. K! I feel so lucky and honored to have had him as my surgeon! He is smart and experienced on top of having a wonderful bedside manner.

He also tailors your surgery based on YOUR needs, not on an arbitrary number. For example, he made my sleeve slightly larger coupled with a slightly shorter common channel to help in my battle against GERD (which has been completely resolved since my surgery).

I've heard there are surgeons who give everyone the same sleeve size and/or common channel. That seems ridiculous to me.
