I'm a month out mine started to get bad after the first week doc proscribed Prilosec well said to get the generic a lot cheaper and its been working great. Its OTC maybe call your doc and see if you could try it but remember its takes a bit to get in your system so give it a few days to see if it works for you. Good luck
I came here tonight to complain of the same thing and I saw your post. I am 13 days post op and just tried to eat an egg but the first bite seemed to get stuck at the top of my stomach. I feel both thirsty and hungry and can't get anything down right now. Hopefully this too shall pass. So you're not alone.
I was at the doctor today for my one week post-op appointment and asked this exact question. I told him I notice it doesn't do it nearly as much if I take mini sips. He said that most people don't understand exactly how tiny a sip and bite they should take. He said that it is likely air going down with the sip or bite and that the air wrestles around with the liquid in your tiny swollen tummy until it is on too if the liquid/food. This exactly described the stomach summersaulting feeling I was having! Hope this helps you guys.
