I'm 4 months post op, I have always had issues with PMDD (PMS) moods, food issues, however recently it seems like my attitude, patience has been bad. Husband has not been happy. He says he cant even talk to me without me snapping.. I'm just wondering if this has anything to do with hormones after surgery? Any suggestions since I know I being mean and annoying to everyone, since I'm annoying myself.

This process can definitely be the culprit.  The surgery operates on our stomachs but not our brains.  This could be from the hormone dump during weight loss, it could be from trying to sort out all the changes in your brain, it could be a combination of everything.  Two suggestions - if you're on meds, you might want to talk with your doctor and see if you need a dosage adjustment, that can happen as we lose weight.  The other - if you're not seeing a therapist, it might be super beneficial to start.  (It might also be helpful for your husband to see a therapist, either by himself or the two of you jointly.)

Hang in there.

To follow up what GwenMo said...  The body stores a lot of its estrogen in fat cells.  As we lose weight and the cells reduce in size, the estrogen is released into the bloodstream (the "hormone dump"), where it plays havoc with all manner of things.  I agree that you should see your doctor.
