Well, it has been 4 weeks today since I had the sleeve.  On the positive side, I am doing great health wise, with no pain or complications. I am noticibly smaller. I have people who I have not seen taking a second look to make sure it is really me.  As of today, I have lost 19 pounds since the sleeve, and 40 since starting the pre op diet 11 weeks ago.  I am 6 pounds away from onederland, and my BMI is down to 31.

On the negative side, I have lose 19 pounds since the sleeve, but 16 of that came in the first week. In the last 3 weeks, I have only lost 3 pounds. I record everything I eat or drink, and I have never gone over 1100 calories in a day. Normally it is about 800.

I suppose slow and steady wins the race

I just did the math.  I lost 28 lbs the first month or 8% of my beginning weight.  You have lost 19 lbs in the first month or 8% of your beginning weight.  Just stick to plan.  Your are doing great.

I actually lost only 21 on the pre-op.  The 40 pounds is the total since going on the pre-op.

I did the pre-op for 7 weeks, just to get used to not eating much.  While on it, I had 2 shakes a day, and then around 800 calories for lunch, avoiding carbs as much as possible.

Congrats!  That's great weight loss.  Just think - at least according to my insurance requirements, you're no longer eligible for WLS!  I think that's pretty amazing :D
