Salads
Is it just me or have simple salads all of a sudden become a WONDERFUL thing? I'm at 8 weeks and I love a nice small salad-cucumber, cherry tomatoes, olives, and beets with just a hint of light Italian or some other vinegar dressing. I can only eat about 1/2 a cup but I do love them so much! Before surgery I was not really into salads unless it had slabs of meat and cheese in it. Now I love cucumbers, olives and tomatoes using them as snacks by themselves. It appears as if most of all my carbohydrated (
salads are great , they add fiber to your diet and help stop the dreaded constipation
a salad with cheese or meat added as a protein makes a great meal bu****ch the dressing there all high in cal , oil and viniger is ok if you use a good oil like olive oil, you need some oil in your diet
I definitely feel like I can never get enough veggies these days.
