I am considering the Sleeve over the Band... Just wanted to see some recent sleevers.....

HI All....

 

I am just getting to the approve stage for the surgery. I had wanted to have the Lap Band put in but my Dr has recommended the Sleeve. I have also heard of awful complications with the band and that there is a high percentage of people who have complications, don't really loose weight  or have other complications in general with the band. So.. I was hoping to know, from those of you who have been sleeved.. what sort of complications are you experiencing.. if any?

I am 4.5 post op and i have only have good things to say about my sleeve

Love my sleeve! It's perfect.

sleeved on 9/15...suegery was a breeze..and I have had zero complications...i highly reccomend it...Down 45 lbs since 9/1

No complications of any kind, I love my sleeve

Ditto...sleeved a week ago and NO complications...only great stuff!

I got my sleeve a little over a month ago and I haven't had any priblems. I am very happy.

I was sleeved last Tuesday, doing well and happy with my decision!

I had lapband for 3 years sure I lost some weight but got stuck all the time and was never feeling right 

lapband slipped 3 years after getting it and had it removed 

gained all my weight back fast forward to August 20th 2014 I got my sleeve and love it!!!! No issues no regrets 

no more getting stuck and I'm halfway to goal already!!!

take it from someone who's had both the sleeve Iscthe way to go unless you want to lose your band in a few years and weight loss is slower and your always in pain and get food stuck!!! Not worth it
