Sesquicentennial
Ok, not 150 years, but on Friday, I hit 150 lbs lost since my first consult. (My ticker tracks lbs lost since surgery.) I now weigh what I did when I graduated college in 1985. The funny thing is, I feel skinnier now than I did then. I am not sure what is harder to comprehend, that I have lost that much weight or that I let my weight get that high.
My weight loss has slowed from 2-3 lbs per week to 1 to 1.5 lbs per week but I guess that is to be expected as the calorie deficit lessens.
My first goal is 190 but I think it would be pretty cool to hit 167 and celebrate a bi-centennial. That would be freshman in high school weight.
