I have been coming here for a year now and still don't know what NSG means...would someone be so kind as to fill me in please! Also I am wondering if anyone else has lost enough on their rear end that it's hard to sit at times because the tail bone hurts? Like I said just a couple of silly questions...Thanks!

NSV is non scale victory... a positive not directly related to a number on a scale.

Wanda, my backside hurts all the TIME.  It's a common issue for us, but one I'll happily face! :) Some have tailbone issues and others, like me, have problems with our "sit bones." Mine is both sides of my rump - essentially the bottom of my hip carriage.  Regardless, lots of us have cushions that go everywhere with us.

I also find that I just CAN'T sit for too long.  My legs are also really skinny and bony now - muscular too, because I run a lot.  But skinny nonetheless.  Crossing my legs at the knee, at the ankle, sitting with my knees together...it all gets painful after too long (so does sleeping - hence a big pillow between my knees!).  I went to a movie last night and couldn't get comfortable to save my life!

I call all of these problems NSVs because I never would have imagined them before I lost weight! :)

Yeah, my tailbone got WAY sore because it poked out. I found a nice butt cushion on Amazon, it has a cutout for your tailbone, and it was an absolute lifesaver!

Julie turned me on to the Kabooti from Amazon.  I would DIE without it.
