I use the multi and the Omega 3 (because of my age and family history). I'm thinking of adding calcium, but the multi gives 150% of daily recommended dose and 1250% of daily recommended dose of Vitamin D. I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow morning for my first post op visit...woo hoo.....and plan on asking if I should add a calcium patch.

Either way, she approved them when I saw her pre-op and I find them very convenient because I'm terrible with pills.

Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.

I just make it a part of my daily ritual - with my morning coffee and just before I brush my teeth at bed time.  I never forget my morning coffee - and I can't sleep if I don't brush my teeth.  It makes it easy.

I have them set up in a pill organizer for 4 times a day...it has just become a habit that every morning after I wake up I take them first thing (also helps get my bowels moving in the morning!) and take them within an hour of going to bed at night. getting in the other two is a crapshoot for me these days. because of that, I schedule the majority of the pills at AM and bedtime so that I get most of the important ones. I buy little pill pouch baggies at walmart and take them in individual sets if i'm going out during the day.

I love to eat, but I do not "allow" myself to eat until I take my vitamins. I also love to sleep and do not "allow" myself to go to bed without taking my iron. This reward system works for me!!

I keep 1 set of vitamins by the fridge, I keep my calcium chews in a bowl on the dining room table, my iron pills on the coffee table in the living room & my patches on the nightstand in the bedroom. That way no matter which room I'm in I have that reminder to take my vitamins.

You'll be amazed at how easily it becomes a routine, once you do it for several weeks.  Now it's a no brainer for me.

I take vitamins three times a day - morning, noon, evening.  I put them in a small container that I carry in my purse.

I portion out most of them into a 14-day pill container.  The multi chewables and the calcium chews are too large for the pill container, so I add them to my portable container every morning.  I take a probiotic that I keep in the fridge, so I take that out as I'm making my coffee in the morning.

It was a logistical challenge to take them after surgery as I was also taking iron.  You will adapt and conquer

I've tried several. I started out with Culturelle, and it worked for awhile.  Right now I'm taking this one.  It seems to be working really well.

The problem I've found is that they work, then they don't work as well.  I read that switching them up helps.  And as I mentioned, I keep this one in the fridge to prevent the little critters from deteriorating.

They definitely help with the gas which is why I started taking them.
