Leaving for Bahamas..help!

i leave out early tmrw morning...my hubby Lance, my sister and her husband.

5 days.....I'm post op almost 5 wks out....eating meats, nuts, eggs and fish...so I shouldn't have a problem right?

im bringing a small container of PB2 with me.

Any other advice? I'm healed so I can swim.....

I'm sure you can find meats to eat, if you're eating them already. I wasn't eating a lot of solid proteins yet at 5 weeks (I was eating canned fish/meats, eggs, crock pot cooked meats, etc).

The only advice I can give is, being that you are only 5 weeks out, stick to your plan like glue. No bites/tastes/licks because your "on vacation".

ive only tried tuna, cheese, a little stewed chicken.......not too much, yet.

I was in Aruba at 5 weeks post op. It was fine! I packed RTD protein drinks in my suitcase. I brought Crystal Light packets. Day one, we walked to a store that actually had sugar free popsicles & bought gallons of water. I had awesome soups and light flaky fish at restaurants. Bring a sweater everywhere - you will probably freeze on the plane and in restaurants. Have fun!
