You have been through a lot. It sounds like the knee replacement would be your first priority. Steroid shots increase appetite and cause more fat to be deposited. Look for other ways to deal with the pain. Ice, compression bandages or knee braces, rest, elevation, and Biofreeze help me.
You would need to talk to a surgeon about a revision to your sleeve. If you have a lot of GERD, then they might revise it to RNY. Sometimes insurance will pay for a revision when there is insufficient weight loss. The only way to find out is to ask.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
2015 i had the sleeve i lost 50 right after i started having knee pain. I went in i have no cartilage in my knee so i started to get steroids injection and were not told it would make me gain weight. I'm up to 270 i was 243. I'm so depress because i did everything i had to do to lose the weight. Now i have to have a knee replacement ,I'm in pain constantly i won't take any more shots in my knee or pain pills so i suffer through the pain.because i don't want to gain anymore weight. Please help me i would like to get a sleeve revision
I think that's true! I am just more annoyed with my doctors office not knowing! Does not make me confident they will get an approval before.... and if they get a decline they wouldn't have time to appeal it. ð??'
So awesome to hear! I am not that anxious about the surgery more about them not approving it in time and I had to eat this nasty crap for 2 weeks (it's also expensive). So happy to hear that it was not too bad!
The fact that it can be outpatient surgery should make you feel less nervous. I worried so much about my surgery and it was pretty much a non-event. I have had dental work that left me feeling worse. I had surgery on Tuesday, was up walking in a few hours, back home on Thursday, did light housework all weekend and back to work on Monday.

you may be fine. A lot of insurance companies seem to require that you have your surgery with a "Center of Excellence" - I'm guessing there are more hospitals with that designation than out-patient surgery centers, although I'm not sure about that....
My original surgery date was 1/6 however the doctors office tried to schedule me at an outpatient facility which my insurance denied. Finally The resubmitted with the hospital stay (1/16) but have not heard from the insurance yet. I started the liquid diet yesterday (Which is so nasty). Has anyone had this happen? How do you not worry?
I had RNY and was completely exhausted for the first 6 months. About the six month mark was when my energy returned. Hang in there!!

Thank you for the suggestions. I love the list idea. I am going to start working on that today.
You had major surgery 4 days ago! This is completely normal!
I was napping a couple of months after surgery. It gradually gets better, but don't try to rush things.
