Rosa in Spring... (photos!)

I've missed you tons.  What a fascinating story, given that something interesting and similar happened to me on Thursday!  

Thursday night, we had the memorial for the man who wrote the score to Revelations at my church.  (He was Ailey's music director for the original company.)  They gathered all of the surviving singers and sang Rocka Ma Soul at the very end - it was incredible.  I was blown away!

Aren't you coming back out here sometime soon?  Please please please don't forget to find me when that happens...

OK, I got chills reading that!  Did they show the short film "Revelations at 50"?  They showed it last night before the dance part of the performance.  I loved loved loved the rich history.  The dance was so stirring.  The audience was on their feet, not wanting the dancers to leave the stage.  The woman that stopped to sing with me was simply delishiously amazing!

How cool that our experiences this week intertwined.  And yes, I'm going to see you next month!  I could never forget about you.  I will email you details.  :)
