WELL IT WAS REALLY HARD TO BE HONEST.. I WAS SICK FOR 9 WEEKS.. I COULDNT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING. IM STILL A ABOUT 650 CALORIES A DAY.. IM WORKING HARD ON EATING MORE. AND I NEED TO WORK ON MY PROTEIN.. I ONLY GET ABOUT 25G A DAY. I KNOW TRUST ME.. IM WORKING ON.. I JUST DID MY FIRST PROTEIN DRINK IN 6 MONTHS AND GOT 25G OF PROTEIN GONNA TRY FOR 80G TODAY.

Many of us try to get a minimum of 100 grams of protein in a day-- some from food, some from protein shakes and some with a combo approach. Just let us know your goals and we'll support.

Welcome!!! I think it's terrible how rude some of the other boards are. I would have given up on OH if I hadn't found the LW Board! Congrats on losing all of that weight....that's awesome!!!!

I have found that I have to have protein drinks to get my daily totals between 80-100g....I just can't eat enough to get there without them. I made a power shake in the morning....1 scoop vanilla protein powder (22g) 1 scoop unflavored Unjury (20g) and 8-10oz fat free milk (10g ish). I also add in a little DaVinci Sugar Free syrup....whatever I feel like for the day...and blend it with ice. It usually takes me at least two hours to drink it all down, but at least the ice keeps it cold. Having this shake makes sure that I am getting at least 50g of protein in before noon and then I start eating real food.
I also found that my pouch does better with fluids only in the mornings...not quite as grouchy!
We are so happy to have you here with us! I was fortunate that I found the lightweight board the first day of being on OH and didn't have to suffer the mean folks on the main board!
