Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my top reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

It's Friday....YEAH!!!!   Do you have Jean Day on Fridays at your work?  Before WLS I would have never worn jeans to work now I own more jeans than I do dress pants.

During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening  because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that,  "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and  then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

 They gave us jean friday to boost moral back when they were cutting everyone's hours and laying people off. Even though the company is stable again they haven't taken it away from us :) Now me, I've always looked cute in jeans. Something today that wasn't true this time last year is a lot of shirts end up tucked in (usually when I wear jeans) and that's not something I would have allowed prior to WLS

Protein: Grapefruit Nectar 23g protein
Breakfast: Breakfast cookie bar and cottage cheese: 26.4g protein
Snack: Jello Pop: 5.8g protein
Lunch: Turkey burger, cooked carrots: 25.7g protein
Snack: String Cheese and 1/2 quest nutrition bar: 17g protein
Pre-workout: 3gm protein
Zumba
Protein: Prostar cookies n creme: 25g protein
Dinner:  TSP Mockafoni with greenbeans: 24.5g protein
Dessert: NAS ice cream with kashi and cherries: 7.3g protein


 7/18/10: 211lbs, 10/16/10: 174 lbs, 1/21/11: 146 lbs, 4/20/11: 131 lbs. Insulin FREE since 7/2010, "normal" BMI since 12/2010. I'm 31, 5'5", happily married, with a fabulous 3 year old boy, and hope to add to our family in the near future

My DH and DD's were always trying to get me to wear jeans but I felt heavy in them.  I tried the shirt tucked in recently and it looked good when I was standing but when I sat down my extra pouch from loose skin is way to noticeable to me. 

Great menu...love the variety!

Dress Down Fridays   I wear my tight jeans on Fridays. lol  I'm almost 56 years old, so they aren't that tight but the young studs I work with don't seem to mind.
