Eating healthy, anyone couponing to save?

I have seen extreme couponing and couldn't believe my eyes! Has anyone started couponing as a cross addiction or to help save money?? Where do you find all your coupons??? I am scared of coupons online due to computer virus? Anybody have any helpful pointers to where to find HEALTHY EATING Coupons??? Any helpful pointers are appreciated. Hugs and loves~

I'm interested to see what comes up.  I am gardening to eat healthy and save $$$, plus I love it.  That and meat is about all I eat so unless there are coupons for meat and cheese, I don't know if I would use them anyway.  But I'm always open to saving money.

I have seen extreme couponing and have attempted it, the problem with my area is NO PLACE doubles. They make it work by using in store cards(VIP, FoOdlion type) and matching the coupon with a sales ad with the coupon. I can save $$$ at places like rite aid and walgreens but have not been successful at grocery stores. As I said no doubling here. One store does but only up to a 1.98 and you are allowed no more than 20 coupons, those women use like 300 per trip....That being said you CAN get some excellent savings, especially if it is a new product on the market, high dollar coupons always available, jus****ch for the sale. I just use coupons from the Sunday paper, tuesdays ads and I write to companies and let them know how much I LOVE their product. They do not always send coupons but most do.

Great advice thanks! I don't live anywhere near doubling either but I am going to try this and see if it helps at all. This economy is killing us for sure. We have to start finding ways to save.

I'm interested in trying it because we swap coupons at my job. I cut out the coupons that I want and pass them to the next person, and so on. It's only 3 of us now but we want to make it a larger group. I do not have the space to stock all of the stuff, plus in my house things will expire. Also, I can't find coupons for the things that we use often. Also, as stated before, we have the limits on how many can be doubled and how much will be doubled. If there is a store in the NC area that I can use the techniques that we see on TV, I'd be happy to learn about it.

I have no place for stocking up either so I only get what I need and do not go overboard. I also have trouble finding coupons for certain food stuffs, but if you check online you may be able to find them. Again write/email to your favorite companies...... It does pay off in the long run, I got 3 dollar coupons for Scott toilet tissue,.... IT WAS AWESOME!

I also want to add that I am following a website called Krazycouponlady she sends out a dailt digest with ways to save and even videos to show you how. I have saved todays email if anyone wants me to forward it to you. Just email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to send you it. It has SO much info that goes a long way/

I'm not organized enough.  I end up with coupons from one end of my house to the other. They expire on me too.  Of course, I invariably forget to bring them to the store.
