It has been a wild ride for sure but I wouldn't have missed it for the world!~ 2 years ago tonight I was preparing for my surgery. It had been put off a week due to a sinus infection but I was ready. I was 196 lbs before my surgery with high blood pressure, high cholestoral, fibromyalgia, rapid heart rate, etc. Today I my weight flunctuates between 113 and 115. I don't have any comorbids at all. I feel like I have been healed from the inside out. Three days after my surgery which was Thanksgiving morning I had an emergency surgery. The doctors were not sure if I would make it or not. This is the most scared I had ever been in my life but I know the Lord kept me here for a reason. My husband was so scared he couldn't even talk. What they thought was severe gas pains turned out to be a bowel obstruction that nearly killed me. Over the last 2 years I have had to have additional surgeries but I think if I knew then what I know now I would have still done it. I am so thankful to be able to spend this Thanksgiving not in a hospital but with my family completely healthy and happy. Below are some before and after pictures~
