After almost three weeks away, I'm back home.  Mum isn't doing well and I don't know what the next few months will bring.  It's been very stressful.  I've watched my mother in distress and with all her dignity gone.  I saw things no child should see their parent go through.

Tried to stick to the plan, but it was hard.  If I were to grade myself, I'd give me a c+.  Now that I'm back, I have to try and get myself back to where I was.  It's challenging today but I suppose it will get better in the next day or two.  I need to book my last cancelled appointment with the doc and the nut.  I lost a couple of pounds when I was in Scotland, but mostly it was inches.

Hair is falling out now quite a bit.  That's going to be interesting.....

I'm sorry that your Mum is not well.  Yes, I do know how difficult it is to see you parents in that kind of a state.  It's unfortunate that we all must experience that pain.   I'm glad you were able to be with her.

Are you taking Biotin?  I just started taking it this month.  I know there's no scientific proof that it helps with hair loss but a lot of people swear by it so I'm willing to give it a try.  How many grams of protein are you getting in from your shakes?  My surgeon only recommends 2 protein shakes a day along with your meals.

Sorry to hear about your mom.  It is very difficult when they are comprimised, for sure.

I've always found it pretty easy to get back on track.  Home, with our own food and routines make it easy to get back in line.  I hope it will be easy for you also.

I hope your mom gets better soon. I'm sorry she's going through such a rough time.

Hang tough and get back in to a routine you're comfortable with.

I'm sorry about your mom..now its time to take care of you. For your hair (and probably the rest of you too) up your protein, take biotin, and make sure your taking your vitamins regularly...

So sorry to hear about your mother. Glad you were able to see her.
Glad you did as well as you did with your plan, especially with the amount of stress your under.
Now just get back to your basics and make sure you take care of  yourself.

As for the hair, I lost alot postop, but now its almost all back. The biotin seemed to help with regrowth. Does not stop the loss.
