One-year Out Update (Long)

Thanks Gina. We're working out ideas for more visits. Today we had our last visit with them before their move.  I'll have my pity party for a bit longer, and then I'll move forward.

Congratulations on your one year!!   Sounds like you have done great.  I was not at my final goal at one year either, but eventually made it.

I had to go back on cholesterol medicine.  I have just come back off of it again to see if the levels will stay in the normal range now.  Mine is probably hereditary also.

Sorry about your kids moving.  That would break my heart also.  Maybe you can visit more than once a year.  Skype on the computer is a great tool so they don't forget you.  My sister uses it all the time because her granddaughter lives so far away. It is like they are together.

Thanks Linda. I really appreciate your encouragement, and knowing I'm not the only one to not reach goal at this point in time. Let us know how you do off your med.

Don't be too hard on yourself for not hitting goal.  I am 22 months out and just hit my goal recently.  Keep positive as much as you can and continue your successful journey.
