Hi all! Just checking in to let you all know I had my surgery this morning at 830 am. I am doing extremely well, considering the kicked in the gut feeling. Have had some broth and at Italian ice for supper tonight, the best stuff in the world right now!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers...

Wow- great to hear from you!  I'm packing and getting ready to head to the hospital at the crack of dawn.  You're giving me inspiration and confidence that it will be OK.
Take care.

You must be doing great.  There is no way I could have posted a coherent post the night of my surgery.  My poor boyfriend, I called him that night, still don't remember to this day, and said some things that had him worried I was dying.
I hope they are giving you the good stuff for any pain you might have.

Liz, it is no sugar added Italian ice.

Mom3: I will say a prayer for you....and will move over on the losers bench. I hope you have a great surgery, and make sure you get ahead of your meds, before the pain starts again. Sip, sip, sip! Walk, walk, walk!

Ladytazz: I was on morphine. I do have a really high pain tolerance, so I think that helps things. I have been of clear mind the entire time. My hubby couldn't't believe how good I looked after surgery or how on top of things I am. He was very impressed.

Good night!
