Question about B12

I've noticed that my B12 kind of melts under my tongue (or tucked into my cheek) but never completely dissolves.  I'm assuming that it's not being absorbed if it is still a melted mess there. 

It's just kind of a disgusting blob of yuck that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I got the Nature Made sublingual B12 and it's directions say to let it dissolve under your tongue and then to swallow it.  Which, from what I've heard doesn't make sense for WLS patients, since we don't absorb it through our stomach.

Does anyone have a better brand to recommend that *will* dissolve under my tongue?

Yeah, you definitely want one that will dissolve under your tongue. Superior Source is a good brand and so is Country Life. Also, I think Whole Foods carries B12 dots. You want to find B12 (as Methylcobalamin).

I got the Bariatric Advantage B12 and they would not dissolve either.

I actually buy mine from Sam's club and it is the Simply Right brand.  They melt real quick and are a lot cheaper.

I use whatever I can get at CVS.  Right now it is Nature's Bounty.  It dissolves but you still have something to swallow.  My B12 has always been over 2000 so it must be working.

 I LOVE the GNC brand. Dissolves good and has a good cherry taste. The have them on sale all of the time in the store. I just bought them on their website really cheap.
