WOW..the last Saturday before Christmas. I got a lot accomplished yesterday and I got up early to wrap. DH does most of the wrapping so a lot of it I just put in boxes and put an initial on it so he knows who it belongs too.
Taking my Mom for a perm today and regretting not doing it last weekend. Have a Good One!!!

Hopefully I made the last trip to the grocery / Walmart this morning. I planned on going yesterday afternoon and the crowds were horrible so I did it early this morning. Not too bad. Still working on a knitted hat for a friend, need to make several kinds of homemade mustard from friends that I didn't want to do while I was sick and wrap a few things. Too cold and windy to do anything outside so may as well be in.

I made it out to Starbucks and a small grocery store (at the motorway service station). Parking was easy and the crowds weren't any worse than normal.

I'm late because it seems like I can't plan beyond one meal. I do have a Tofurkey roast in the oven for our evening meal. It has some kind of rice and gravy stuff in the middle. My mini goal for this week from my TOPS group is to get this thing cooked and tasted. Trying out more soy products since I seem to get burned out quickly on meat after a couple of meals with beef. Never cared much for it to begin with and after surgery, definitely can't increase my amounts to what is needed. Now, chicken I can handle a little easier.
