Menus and Miles Monday Dec. 24th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!
It's Christmas Eve...YEAH!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! There is nothing I enjoy more than making my family smile and it's getting closer and closer to that moment......YEAH!!!!!!!!
I'm not sure if I will have time to post tomorrow so if anyone gets up early and has a few moments to spare...go for it!
I hope you ALL have a Wonderful Christmas and if you don't celebrate Christmas then have a really nice quiet, calm, relaxing day (something I'm not going to have and a little envious).

Last errands run and the guys sent off to do a little whatever they do when they are out. My last chance to wrap some presents. Rainy day so no playing with the ponies. Shingles so no exercising. I guess I will finish my knitting and start cooking stuff that can be done today. We are having a simple meal tomorrow so no real rush.

I heard Shingles are really painful. Our previous pastor said he got them from white flour...does that make sense?
YUM....bean soup.
Sounds Good!

these are not as bad as I had the first time but I think it is because I had the shingles shot. No, you can't get them from white flour but it keeps you away from white flour, you can believe that.

First time posting on lightweights I am typically on RNY or main boards but heard such good things about this forum I thought I'd join you all.
I just had hernia surgery on Thursday and ugh eating hurts which I don't understand it never has before. Even water and protein shakes hurt right now but I'm getting in 84-100 oz of water a day, protein and food myeh not much but I'll live I'm sure.
B- Celebrate ENS shake
L- (hopefully some turkey and ham if I can tolerate)
D- (hoping for more turkey and perhaps a tablespoon or two of mashed taters)
S- 1 sugar free sugar wafer (oxymoron I know) while others have pie for dessert.
If I can't get the meat down I'll add one of my doc's protein shakes ugh
