Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!
It's so good to be back to work and back in my daily routine. I don't plan on doing any shopping for quiet awhile...totally burned out.
I saw where WW is starting another new program....Weigh****chers 360. That was the hardest thing for me when I went to WW all of those years. The exchange system worked for me but they insisted I had to follow the new plans they started practically every year and I think that led to some of my failure. Now I have one plan...Protein! If I get my Protein drinks in then there is no counting or calculating.
Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie Protein 35g
Snack: 2 Nut Clusters
Lunch: Small Wendy's Chili.

Yes, I'm starting to see the ads on TV and it's nice to be able to think, no I don't need that... I have something that is working for me!! I still get tempted for a moment by the magazines when they have the latest diet on the front cover and then I remember that that is no longer necessary for me. I'm so grateful for this, although I know I'm in the honeymoon period and that it won't last forever. I'll have to get my act together to start exercising if I haven't already done so by then (I plan on starting when I get back from holiday in the middle of this month... we'll see).
